Bold Team (Cont'd)
I welcome you back to this discussion. It's been a while. Hope you are enjoying yourselves? Yeah, OK! In our previous discussions on this topic, we talked about B- Building, O-Outstanding, L-Landmark, we going to take the next letter, as usual, to mention how to have a bold team. Just patiently and meticulously follow suit. By the end we finish with this topic, I believe you will be sending your testimonies to us. The next letter is;
D- Diligence with Distinction: Businesses owners or coowners must be diligent, resolute, purpose-filled and purposeful, with a great sense of determination will, doubtless, standout amidst great businesses, that is exactly what you'll find in the scripulture, you will also see how many bible writers put theirs, the passage is found in Proverbs22:29,29
KJV: Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
ESV:Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.
NIV:Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.
AMP:Do you see a man diligent and skillful in his business? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.
Another evil inception if many businesses owners is comparison. Another passage if the scripture puts it very clear about danger of unequal comparison. In IICorinthians 10:12, it reads in different versions, KJV:For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
ESV:Not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding.
NIV:We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.
AMP:Not that we [have the audacity to] venture to class or [even to] compare ourselves with some who exalt and furnish testimonials for themselves! However, when they measure themselves with themselves and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding and behave unwisely.
Any business owner who delights in comparing his business others' buainesses with any landmark, distinction, difference or limit is actually suffering from a disease called foolishness. Though the business may flourish from the onset, but watch closely, it's deficient in key areas. Diligence and distinction are great couple that catapult one's business to the land if boom and greatness with very high speed.
A diligent and distinct man must be prudent and nonconformist to uninteresting ideas of antagonisers. Distinctiveness must be ever business's watchword. Questions, rresearches, iinquiries and piety should characterise a diligent business owner. Let me end his by saying, a doggedly thriving business has its anchor from a diligently distinct owner!
Now, I am moving to the next phase of our discussion. Thanks for reading. Kindly forward to your friends. Once again, thanks!
