According to a dictionary, the meaning of follow is defined as, seeking to attain.
Well, there are other mindblowing meanings to this word. Up also mean when something is at the top, peak or summit. Now follow-up means another thing entirely. It means when you decide to find out the welfare or situation o something. For example, you just go a client as a businessman. You need to know some basic facts about the person before you go into valid agreement.
ESSENTIALS OF FOLLOWUP AND FEEDBACK
Follow-up is very essential in all aspects of life. We even need to follow-up ourselves to know whether we are doing way we are supposed to do or whether to know if actually we are not doing when we should do. When an instruction is given, follow-up should immediately begin for effectiveness and correctness.
Now, feedback. We all know, to feed is to take in something. In the same vein, feedback is when you are notified of what have been given earlier on, I.e instruction or mandate. Feedback is very important and necessary if we must be sure we have actually communicate or delivered our duties very well.
INFOMATIONAL CONCEPTS
To be candid, information should not be on a single flow. But it must be, as I follow you up, you feed me back. There must be corresponding positive response to every instruction. We can also applied the law of double entry system in accounting, that a debit entry must have a corresponding credit entry. In summary, what goes out must be allowed to come in.

To all our businesses and entrepreneurs, I need to remind you, because you might have known this already, that feedback is the strength of your information.

The feedbacks project the current and future position of your business and the qualities that will be needed.

Yes, effectively done and done effectively. They seem similar but I can boldly say, they are not.
The first part, it must be done effectively I.e you must put all your resources,: human, money, time, talent and all other things that will facilitate the dissemination of it. Doing it effectively requires that you plan ahead and have a workable and achievable goal. You can just go to a supermarket without have a list of what you want to buy. If not, impulse buying will sweep away your money. With the same concept, you must plan ahead of your follow-up.
Do your best to getting the best result. Do it as if, your heart will fail you if in the long run, you failed. To know whether you are doing your best, you must constantly review your follow-up schedules.
Very quickly, I go to the second side, it must be effectively done. Am I right with that construction? Oh, I caught you-yu ain't follow. The correct one is, it must be done effectively. By doing it effectively, I mean, go back and get a feedback. Don't just presume or assume. Be sure! Not everyone will always have you in mind. Except you do a second visit, you, may never get reply from some people. Thereby, losing your client to someone that cares.
Can I share a secret with you today? First and foremost, every business has a contender.
Secondly, your contender will always look for your weak aspect to gain advantage of you.
Thirdly, you are not the only one in the market, even a monopolist has a secret rival.
