Enjoy reading...  Football Fanaticism
You welcome back to this section of our discussions.
Last time, we considered, Faulty Future Foresight. In that lesson, we were made to understand the categories of people we need to jettison if we must be success persons in life.
Are you an achiever and you still mingle with this sect of people, you need to make a Uturn today. Run away from NFAs( No Future Ambitions).

Today, in respect to the topic we are going to be enlightening ourselves on,  Football Fanaticism. To introduce the topic, what is football? Football is a game that involves kicking a ball. What is a ball? A ball is a rounded object used in game.
What is a foot? The foot is the part of leg below the ankle. It's pluralised feet. Many people like football, in fact, we have million of footballer with over 300,000 teams playing in the world. Do you like football?

Fanaticism means an excessive enthusiasm for something. We have fanatics in educational sector, armed forces, labours and works, games and vogue industry.
They are there to make those sectors interesting and convincing for people to join. They have positive and negative impact on themselves and people around them.

Football Fanatics are group or individuals who have excessive love orenthusiasms for football. They will always be seen talking, jisting, demonstrating and betting, predicting football forecasts. Are you a football fanatic?

Like I said, it has positive and negative impact on them and people around. Below are some of the positive impact:
* They are well informed and knowledgeable about the team they support.
* They can predict easily which team would win a match contest or comes out overall best.
* They build up their morales and those of the players.
* They have low propensities to fall sick because of excitements and exercises.
* They cheer up their teams.
These are just few out of the numerous positive impacts of the football fanatics.

On the other hand, the negative impacts are just too many to be mentioned. Below are some of them:
* Football fanaticism is a disease on its own.
* It wastes an individual quality time.
* It could lead to poverty e.g because of excessive bettings.
* Fanatics die of many avoidable diseases e.g heart attack, fighting and other antisocial behaviours that lead to quarrellings.
* It is normal to love a sport, but when it is getting too much, it becomes above normal or abnormal.
* Lost of focus on other vital aspects of one's life.
* You can check up for other disadvantages of football fanaticism. Some years back, a man, because he predicted that his team would win and therefore used his whole properties to seal it, his team lose and his committed suicide instantaneously. Another young boy killed his mom because she disallowed her to watch football. Some group of boys also killed themselves because of football. These are few out of numerous demerits of football fanaticism.
Are you a football fanatic?

Now that we have considered the advantages and disadvantages, what is tour stand? I am not saying you mustn't have a team you support. In fact, I once supported Chelsea and my brother and sister also are fans of my team. My friend is an Arsenal fan. But I stopped supporting the team when my work disallowed me.

Well, I still sometimes, read news and listen to  people talk football. Football is not a sin. To be frank, it is only football that has all sports inclusive. You learn to run, jump, jog, slide, flew, kick something, head something, back run, do some press ups, display you acrobatic talents and other drillings that I cant mention now. Football is really interesting.

My advice to you is, love football but don't be too fanatical about it. It makes you loose some vital things. One, you loose focus, courage, trust and confident, you are also doing some crazy things for someone that doesn't even know you. When your boss or brother because of Lionel Merci or Christian Ronaldo, will they pay you for that? You will end up injuring your brother and loosing your job that earns you a living. What is your gain then?

In conclusion, football fanaticism is never acceptable behavior from anyone. Be careful you don't fall for that trend. Thanks!
